on My Bathroom Floor — What I Discovered Left Me Terrified!
It started with something so small that I almost ignored it.
I was walking into my bathroom, expecting another ordinary day, when I noticed a dark shape lying on the floor. At first, I assumed it was a piece of dirt or a scrap of rubber that had fallen from somewhere.
But something about it seemed wrong.
Its surface looked strangely smooth, almost rubbery, and its outline was unlike anything I remembered seeing in my bathroom before. I stopped at the doorway and stared at it, trying to convince myself that there was a simple explanation.
Then I thought I saw it move.
My heart skipped a beat.
I stepped backward, suddenly unsure whether I should go closer or leave the room entirely. The bathroom was a familiar place, somewhere I had entered thousands of times without thinking. Yet, in that moment, it felt completely different.
I could not understand what I was looking at, and that uncertainty made the situation even more unsettling.
Was it a piece of rubber? A strange insect? Something that had crawled inside through a tiny opening?
I had no answers.
For several seconds, I remained still, watching the dark shape and waiting to see whether it would move again.
I wanted to believe that my eyes were playing tricks on me. Perhaps the lighting was making an ordinary object look strange. Perhaps I was tired and imagining movement where there was none.
But I could not shake the feeling that I needed to find out what it was before I went any closer.
Something Was Not Right
I began examining the bathroom from a safe distance.
I looked at the sink, the shower, and the visible plumbing. I checked the corners and the areas around the walls, wondering whether something had fallen or been carried inside.
Nothing immediately explained the object on the floor.
The more I looked, the more questions appeared in my mind.
How had it gotten there?
Had it been there for several minutes before I noticed it?
And if it really was alive, where had it come from?
Bathrooms are places where moisture collects, and I knew that certain small creatures prefer damp environments. Still, I had never expected to discover something so unusual in a place I considered clean and familiar.
I tried to think logically.
There are many ordinary explanations for strange objects found inside a home. A damaged seal, a piece of debris, or even a small animal can look unfamiliar when viewed unexpectedly.
I reminded myself that fear often grows when we do not have enough information.
Yet I still could not bring myself to touch it.
Instead, I decided to take a closer look without making direct contact. I moved carefully, keeping my attention fixed on the floor and avoiding any sudden movements.
The dark shape remained where it was.
For a moment, I wondered whether I had imagined the movement entirely.
Then I noticed its unusual outline again, and my curiosity returned
